2024 is the Year of the Dragon.
In Chinese culture, the dragon is talented, adventurous and ambitious. Dragons are passionate and determined, striving for excellence. CSVPA shares that energy and purpose, encouraging our creative community to pursue excellence in their work.
As the Lunar New Year approaches, we recognise and celebrate our East Asian and South East Asian students. The students draw on the traditional techniques and mediums from their cultural backgrounds, combining them with new skills and knowledge learnt at CSVPA innovatively in their work. Our students’ creative outputs incorporate rich cultural heritages and artistic traditions from around the world.
We are starting the year with a fantastic student university success. Olive, Level 3 Foundation Diploma student from Hong Kong has received an offer to study Fine Art at the University of Oxford. We look forward to more successes as the year progresses.
CSVPA welcomes a diverse student community representing. This incredible cultural diversity forms a rich, creative atmosphere that is an artistic asset for our students. Collaboration and shared learning experiences ensures that students’ work is enriched by their peers’ knowledge, experiences and ideas.
